I am 5'11" and I ride a Deluxe. I got the "nostalgic" ws for my bike at the dealer and it is just right. My line of sight is just a few inches over the top of the shield, and it makes a huge difference riding at highway speeds.

Depends on your preference. I'm 6'0" and have the HD nostalgic low profile windshield (P/N 57141-05). It rises up about chin-level and it works absolutely perfect for me.

I'm 6ft and got the HD Nostalgic King-size. I had to have 2 3/8" cut from the top because it was too tall. now it's just right - somewhere between my nose and upper lip.

What about aftermarket? Is there any that are as good without the Hundered $ Davidson price?

Check out Memphis Shades

I'm sure some of the other guys will be able to help you with which model to go with for your bike.

I am 6ft and have the stock. My friend got the short one and it saved him from a 2x4 in the face that fell off a truck. I saw the stock one the other day for a short woman who had some one cut ir down to the right height and it was done professional so it looked great and custom

Check out Cee Baileys. I got some tinted replacement plastic for my nostalgia windshield. When the two sheets were both off the brackets it was amazing the quality difference. The HD weight plastic is flimsy and cheap compared to this. Its made from aviation grade plastic so you can count on it working much better with high pressure wind.

The height is a personal prefference and is dependand on quite a few factors like your seat, bars, etc. Best to have it personally fitted.

Default Nostaligic Windshield Bag

Hello,

I have a King Size Nostalgic Windshield on my 2021 Heritage Classic 114. My Harley Dealer says the bag that would have fit my factory windshield, will not work on the Nostalgic Model. Anyone know of possibly an aftermarket bag that will work?

Thanks

There is also Long Ride Shields. The website has a bit of a tutorial for choosing the right height for you. Measured while you sit on your bike. The curvature at the top edge of the shield causes the wind to deflect above your helmet to avoid head buffeting. Thus you don't need quite as tall a shield compared to the factory shields. Thus a possible line of sight improvement not looking through the upper edge line of your wind shield. If you do change your seat to a lower seat down the road, the Long Ride Shield could give you some leeway there too. Since they are usually specified lower height overall than the factory shields due to the curvature at the top edge. Hope that's useful info. I run one on a FatBoyLo and it works great. Best of luck.
