Try giving V&H a call also. They typically will send you the replacement in advance of you sending the scratch one in. Worth a shot.

 

first I have ever heard of this. V/H quality is second to none in my experience.....I guess every company's QC can slip on a Friday afternoon during manufacturing!

no other exhaust would ever go on our HD's.....

As others have said, their customer service will take care of it....

The second pic is a close up of a spot that is all rough,I have no idea what the hell it is,bad chroming I think,It's hard to take the pictures of the scratches because of the flash so I didn't post those,,I will call Vance and Hines on Monday and see what they say,hell,I'll e-mail them the pictue!!

 

The local Harley store that ordered my pipes... said something about the hurricane caused the delay.

 

Sent e-mail with pictures to Vance and Hines today,wait to see what they say.To do what Dennis Kirk wants(if I have no choice) I have to put back all stock stuff to ride before season ends here in Ct.Not a lot of riding time left here.It's been rainning hard for 3 days now and it is suppose to clear up later today and for Mon and tues.
