I'm looking into getting the special 1930's style paint set (# 95711-03BFN), but need to know if it will fit on a 2005 or 2006 springer classic?

Man what a great looking set! You might want to check with the dealer to be sure. I got a paint set from an '03 Heritage and it fit my '05 Fatboy with no trouble. The only issue that I'm aware of on these Softails is the tank. Some of the carbureted models from '03 and earlier will not work on the '04 and newer carbureted or fuel injected bikes. If the paint set is from a fuel injected bike, you should be fine.

Yes check with your dealer. I was thinking the rear fender holes were just a little larger where the struts mount from an 03 to 05. If so, they can be enlarged.

Thanks. Yeah, I ended up going with a Dyna for my bike I bought this summer, but still want a springer some day and will track down a set like this or will get some tins custom painted like this set from 2003.
