Please don't put beach bars on that bike. Looks great the way it is. If you are gonna change the bars, throw on a set of drag bars.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. The front wheel is a DNA 21x3.5 and the fender is a smooth heritage fender from HD. I'm still leaning towards painting it Denim Black.

What's the rear wheel? If it's a DNA did you have to use any spacers to make everything line up?

I like your style sweet bike!
I Like the look of Ape but I don't think my ol' arms could handle them so I run drags.

Very nice on the makeover, like the looks of the fatter wheel and tire in the front though. JMO...

I'm trying to decide if I should powdercoat the oil bag black and the heat shields flat black or if I'm starting to over do the black theme. I already have a black coil cover, horn cover, and rear axle covers that I haven't installed yet. What do you guys think?

If it were me I'd do it. I wouldn't have a stitch of chrome on it if I could justify plating everything on my bike. I dig your bike and think it'd look awesome with the wrinkle black kit I'll be putting on mine.

Here is a pic of a bike I found somewhere (may have been on this site), I think it looks sweet. Even if you leave it gloss or go denim it will look great.
