Default I am new to HD's and i did my first mod..

Well i recently acquired a 91 Soft tail in mint condition this bad boy was a garage queen since 91.

Any way my problem was the current head lights do not offer proper illumination of the road so i decided to update it with a HID Xenon Kit.

Tell me what you think...

FYI: the original sealed beam was updated with a 7" Hella lens and i installed a H4 HID kit. I lost high beam but to tell you the truth with the new HID you will never need high beams.

I have a spare kit for sale if anyone is interested since it was for a car and i only used 1 kit.

Keep the extra bulb, they don't last forever.

I have another set installed on my car for 3 years now so far so good.. i don't think i will have a problem with this HID since it's the new Digital slim series not the big bulky ones.

I think HIDs are great. Haven't put one in my Heritage yet but may think about it down the road. That white light sure gets noticed alot easier than the standard light.

Well it was some what tricky on my application since it came with a sealed beam i had to track down a 7" lense i decided on a Hella OEM German off road light with that European Z cut off to the right.

This specific lense projects like the European car lenses on the new BMW's and MB's with HID.

So i purchased that lense and i purchased a HID kit for a car.

every thing was plug and play the ballast is hidden in the handle bar covers, and i had to cut and solder the wire going to the bulb because i didn't want to enlarge the hole on the chrome bucket.

But other than that everything plugs right in.

I lost high beam but i use the high beam switch to turn on and off the headlight now.

if you have questions on the install you can PM me or E-mail me 5thscaleracer@verizon.net

Merry X-Mas all!
