I've decided to relocate my license plate with SoftBrake. I like to be a little different, so I thought possibly instead of chrome, going with powder coated black for both the tombstone taillight housing and license plate with led. I like chrome, but with my Olive pearl/black color scheme, I can play around a little. My thinking was the turn-signal bar would separate the top and bottom black theme.

you know if you go with a black liscence plate holder you will have to paint your forks -wheels-motor black. i say go for it!!!! thats gonna be a big magic marker....

 

like your attitude of being different...I think it would look great...powder coat black

 

I would stay with the chrome.
Black out of place, considering the bike is all chrome
Looks out of place along side chrome turning signals already

 

I would go with the chrome also, but I don't like that plate holder. IMHO, It would look better with a thinner chrome frame.

Black only works if you black out other stuff like I did on my Sportster. Go with chrome on that
