Default BSS on my 09 Fatboy

Someone last week mentioned they were thinking about these pipes, and I finally took delivery of my 09 Friday. I must say I am very happy with the sound. I had Bub's on my 04 Fatty and the sound was much different. To compare the two, I would say they Bub's were just flat out louder. They BSS are a much deeper, cleaner sounding pipe if that makes any sense. I just put 50 miles on yesterday, so I still can't open her up yet to really hear the sound through fast accleration. Hope this helps.

UPS is delivering my BSS pipes today. Got the PCIII and S&S air cleaner last week. Can't wait to get them all installed.

I did not get the quiet baffles. I don't think I would like them. They sound just fine as they are.

Running normal baffles in mine still. Maybe when some money is avail I may try the other baffles. People say they sound really nice

I'm more than happy with mine. Would like to add the PC5 and intake some day. No money at the moment. Have 2 trucks that are broken and just found out yesterday I put a big dent in my front fender of the Fattie.

Give them a shot without the quiet baffles first. They sound pretty good with the stock baffles. And if you wanna change later, I think you can pick up the quiet baffles for $25.00 apiece.

Thx, that's what I will do. I'll ride em stock for now. I want to be loud and tough sounding, just not loud and annoying.
