Default Wire/Spoke Rims sealed for tubeless Questions !

Hi guys,

I am looking into having an 18/4.25 for the rear and 21 on the front of my FXST (2001) and looking into the tubeless tires, but I want to stay with spokes.

I hear some negative feedback on leaking tires, and specially when truing the wheels again ? is this true ? anybody have experiences ?

Also, with tubeless tires, can I still get white wall tires ? or do they only come on tubed tires ?.

Finally any recommendations ? I saw some on ebay for as low as 300$ which looks like an amazing deal on a 60 spoke sealed for tubeless 18 rim ..

I await your response.

Regards
A.

Sorry, don't remember the name of the company but there is one that does it. Located in
So. California.
Try to google it.

There is lots on ebay,

I am just reluctant on buying something that starts leaking after a while, and was hoping someone who has done it before gives me a name of a dealer/shop that they trust.

tubeless was problem a while back when Harley made the switch because at the beginning there where leaks ans some accidents and Harley got sued, so now you see tubeless on the tires and some assume there tire has no tube. but it does all stock Harley spoke rims have tubes in them. you don't need them now because the system has gotten allot better but harley does not wat to take the chance and risk another round of law suites

I'm gonna catch a ride on your thread klf33. I'm looking for the same info (but in a 16" front / back).
