Default SE heavy breather?

I'm interested in getting this intake. My question is does it get in the way of your legs for the taller rider? I'm 6'2" with extended reach controls on my nt. I was wondering if I would have any kind of problems. Thanks for any info.

Thanks. That's what I was looking for. One more question for everyone. If I go from the se stage 1 air cleaner to this one will I have to have the pcm reprogrammed? I know the dealer will tell me yes but I was wondering if anyone actually did it without reprogramming and if they had any problems.

I put one on my NT and it actually seems to give more room cause your leg slides underneath it.. and the SE or Big Sucker kit stuck out more where your leg goes down it..

Are you referring to reprogramming the ecm or a pcIII? You got me all confused. Do you have aftermarket pipes or slip ons or what? If you just have slip ons most people say don't bother, but if you want maximum HP for your ride and for it to run cool get a power commander to go with it. I have a used SE heavy breather for sale with a k and n filter (far better than the se filter) if youa re interested. PM me if you want it. It will fit your bike.

Responded to your PM. Keep in mind that everyone here has varying opinions and one guy may say you need this while another will say you need that. Food for thought.

I got the Heavy Breather so I could rest my legs on the forward controls wiothout my leg hitting that football. I am 6'3 and I love it.

Had the SE Heavy Breather put on. Have Rush 1.75 slip-ons and they did the stage 1 download, could defnitely tell a difference in power. I still have the stock floor boards and even though I am only about 6' I have to watch it to not have my knee against the elbow on the breather.
