Default Lapera bare bones solo on a Deluxe..........

I'm ready to swap out my stock deluxe seat for the bare bones solo. Can anyone tell me if the bare bones solo is tall enough to cover the stock seat (2) rear mounting bolts on the fender.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks -Mike-

If you are talking about those two mounting bolts at the back of the seat that go thru the fender....then yes the BareBones will cover those holes. At least that's the case for my FatBoy

I put a bare bones knock off on my Deluxe and it covers the holes. I love the seat, put me about 4 inches further back on the bike. Totally changed the rideing experiance, its a little firm but I find it good even for rideing all day for 4 days straight.

I've got the Corbin Hollywood Solo on my Deluxe. Just barely covers the 2 bolt holes.

My Lepera doesn't cover the two bolt holes on my 06 Deluxe. I just put on the threaded caps that go with the stock seat. It still looks ok.

It does NOT cover the mounting studs for the stock seat. It still looks great and totally changes the riding experience. As mentioned, just put the threaded caps on.

I know this thread is from forever ago, but was hoping someone would have a more definitive answer by now. Someone here said yes, someone said no, and someone said just barely. Thanks!
