Default New powdercoating on 08 NT

Hey all. Just got some new powdercoating done to my fork lowers, brake and clutch levers, risers, headlight trim ring, and the inner shifter lever. All coating was done in a semi gloss(matte) black. I also did the black billet foot controls and diamond black pegs and grips. Also installed some Arlen Ness 2 1/2" drop dampers in the forks while I had everything apart.

The guy who did the powdercoating for me is a member here...Joe Knapp(JRK5892). I must say he did a real nice job. Funny part is I went to high school with him and hadn't seen him in years until I happened on to this board last year before I bought my train. Turns out he lives a couple miles away from me.

So Im still debating on what to do with the turn signals. Should I just go ahead and get those coated too, along with the headlamp shell? If anyone has some nice lookin aftermarket turns feel free to post up! Or even some black powdercoated stockers...

Anyways here's a few pics of the work done. Sorry for crappy pics but its in the teens with snow on the ground so the garage will have to do for now

Few days after I picked the bike up completely stock.

After.

I had my rear signals PC.. I like them in the black they look good.. I was going to do the fronts but im holding out on a PRO1 triple tree with integrated signals.. I also Did my Shift lever and Brake lever in Black instead of the Black one's from HD, which I'll prob end up getting. Id take your signals apart and do them in PC.. my 2 cents

Looks good. The lowering really looks great.

There are some nice after market turn signals out there.

Man I wish I could use that shifter & rear brake.....

I'm using Badlands Flame Throwers in the front, and Alloy Art in the back. They look awesome. Once I get everything back together I'll post up some pictures of it.
