Default More Power Maybe???

I think I need a little more power and get up and go out of my bike. I have a 2006 Heritage and I want to spend around $500, I have no idea where to start. I only have the 88 cubic in. I just want a little more power, Any Suggestions????

well do you have a stage 1 intake slip-ons full exhaust efi tuner anything of that nature? if you have all of that where do you want the brute of your power low band or mid to high band a simple cam job can do that for you. but only go with the cam unless you already have teh intake and exhaust.

I have the intake and exhaust. About how much are cams? I already have too much money in this bike, that's the only reason I'm asking. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

well all depends on what type what brand and all but im sure you can get a good se 204 cam kit for like $300.00 but and then the installation i would call your local stealer but im sure you can get a cam job for round $600.00 and that would give you the little more umph your looking for.

Just installed 21's in my 88" a couple weeks ago. Added a nice bump in low to mid and pulls better than stock above that. If you install yourself everything can be done for ~$300 if you reuse your stock push rods. Add another $100 if you go with adjustables.

Yep, a good set of cams can make a world of difference.

If you don't have a PCIII, SERT, ect. I would recomend that route along with a good tuner. If you find a guy that knows what he's doing, he'll be able to squeeze everything out of your engine. Good Luck

I definitely felt a nice increase of power when I added the SE AC, V&H Double Barrels and the Fuel Pak...However, I too would like even more power...Been thinking of going with an SE 95" but not sure I want to spend that much money and void my warranty....maybe down the road...
