Default Just tore it down

Yanked off the front wheel, rear wheel and swingarm.

Gotta finish pressing out the old bearings out of the swingarm.

Then have to get another T-40 bit to pull of front rotor, then bang out old races, then pull off tire.

Then sending out the wheel, swingarm and rear caliper bracket to get powder coated.

Also installing new oil tank bushings, and installing new rear tire.

Last thing is to fix my clearance issue between belt and sidewall lip.
I made up a bunch of new spacers to try to fix this problem.

Looking to get it back together by the next week or 2. Just in time for the better weather rolling in!

It was painted originally black, but since it has scuffs from the old exhaust, some serious marks when the clamp on plate frame loosened up too, and chips.

Really not much more cost involved.

Curious as to why you waited till now to start a project like this. It sounds like a "beginning of winter" type of job. That way, it would be done already and be ready to ride.

I intended to do it a while ago but with being forced to 2nd shift at work, my only free time was weekends and with the kids schedules it's tough to find some free time.

I don't need much time, heck, it only took me an hour to rip it apart. Would've finished too if I hadn't broken 2 T-40 bits try to loosen the front rotor bolts.

My turn around time on the parts is quick, 2-3 days. I will take my time reinstalling everything only because I have to play with the rear alignment with spacers.

Parts are in the shop, should have them back by the end of the week, then time to install.

Got new rubber for the rear too

Default wheel bearings

the wheel bearings must be pulled. the wheel design doesnt allow them to be pressed.
