Rcoker C Modifications
It has not been lowered and the Danny Gray sits lower making it look lower.
The knurled cap is drawn into the left fork and takes some force. Once it is in, the axle is put in and and torqued into the knurled cap which has threads on the inside. The remaining cap is put into the right fork and the fork cap is tightened down around the cap. I purchased the axle from an HDForums member called Puzzled, the pictures above are his also.

Me too, it is a 1951 Dodge that we are going to fix up. Oh! and two boxes of condoms can be put in the bag! :-)
I like that solobag....Where did you get that?
Some of the solobag folks on our fine have stated that wrapping the portions of the swingarm where that bag attaches to with electric tape is a good idea.....
Yers' is awfully purty. Thinking I would wrap that rascal as well!

Bike looks great, love the mods!! One suggestion though, I noticed in the picture of the tank lift that the gas tank crossover line is still running under the tubing. Would it look better if you moved in up where it runs over the tube instead? Just my two cents.

I like that idea, but the space between the tank and the frame would not accommodate the braided fuel line.
