Default bigger wheels

This might be a dumb question, but if I go from 16 inch wheels to 18 inch weels do I need to do anything to recalibrate my speedo on a 06 fatboy?

Good way to test it is just get out on the hiway. Lock your throttle in at 60mph. Start a stop watch at the mile marker. 60mph should equal 60 seconds a mile. Not the most accurate way to do it, but if you are within a few seconds then you should be ok. If over a ten mile streach you are way off, then I would look into it. I wouldn't worry to much about it unless it is showing more miles that what you are traveling. ie. If you go 10 miles on the hiway but your OD showes 11 then you may want it checked out. If not then don't stress it.

I went from 16's to 18's. The only change is the inner tire diameter. If sized correctly, the outer tire dimension should be the same.
