been there done that, i had a metzler 150 on the front and it fits, i now have a 120 and it steers better thru the turns. Had the metzler on the rear and it was great but tire lasted 4700 miles and dunlop last 10,000. So i have the best of both worlds now. only thing i lost with dunlop on the back was wet weather traction. The next front tire i will try will be the 130/70 metzler and the new dunlop d407 with soft side tread.

Did you use the 200 or the 210 Metzeler?

the 210 made the 6th gear work better as it is a little shorter than stock.

no, you need both to be radials. you can go with a 120/70 17 or a 130/70 17 or a 150/80 17 front tire. i have used both the 150 and the 120. i will go with 130 next time as i now scrap the floor boards in tight turns
