Default gotsaggybags?

Has anyone ordered these bag 'liners' from this company?

Is this the best solution for saggy bags or is there an alternative?

I'd appreciate any comments.

You can make your own out of plastic bought from home depot. Measure bags with cardboard and cut plastic to fit. Glue into bags. I have seen before and after pics and msot people seem quite happy with these, but if I had bags I'd make my own. Good way to spend a couple of hours.

If you don't feel like doing them yourself and/or you don't like the idea of gluing your bags, you can send them out to:

I'm happy with the job they did on mine. Includes a lock hasp on each bag also.

They black rivet everything in. The lid piece is made to match the contour of the lid and not just a flat piece as with the diy kits (I believe). As stated though, the reviews of the diy kits are always positive.

I see BBs raised their return shipping to $35. It was $25 couple months ago. If you go this route make sure you check out alternate shipping outlets. I went with UPS and paid almost $70 to ship the bags 3 w/insurance.

I put the SaggyBags kit in my 06 Softail. Kept the bags well shaped and clean looking - very happy with the result.

or do what I have done for years.....just use cardboard. Cuts to fit very easily, and it's quite cheap

thanks for the comments.

I realize I could probably make my own, out of some sort of plastic but for the price I think I'll order the saggybags kit.

one poster here said he was happy with the 'kit' results and I saw a Heritage Classic today with the 'saggybag' liners and it looked great.

Anybody else use this kit or make their own?
If you made your own...I'd be interested in knowing what material you used.

I'm not surprised that my '04 bags are sagging....the Heritage I saw today was an '07 and needed the 'liners'.
Now you say a new bike on the showroom floor and "one of the bags was already out of shape."

It begs the question; If all the bags sag ( and some very quickly) why doesn't Harley install liners in the bags when new?

I suppose they're trying to keep the old school look and I guess some riders like it. I'm more surprised that they don't offer there own "catalog" fix so they can make the money instead of aftermarket suppliers.

Then again, they'd probably price it at twice the cost of gotsaggybags as to be non competitive.

I used the gotsaggybags kit on my 07 and it worked great, easy install and they work as advertised.
