Default Best sounding exhaust

I just picked up an 07 deuce and I am looking for a good sounding/looking exhaust. I like the look of the VH big shot staggered and have seen vids on youtube to get somewhat of an understanding of how they sound. Can anyone point me in any other directions for a nice exhaust? I want a nice deep sound, but don't want it ridiculously loud.
Thanks alot!

Best thing to do is go to a dealer on a weekend or other local biker hangout and listen to the pipes other riders have. Nothing like hearing them in person.

Can't go wrong with V&H as they are the most popular pipes on HDs.

For now, I'm happy with my Rush 1.75 slipons. They have a good sound and no tuner needed. And they only set me back $230. For my ears, they are too loud at times but I know of nothing quieter till you get down to the SEs which many would say are too quiet.

Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of low to medium noise choices.

love my 2" rush, but if you have the stock headers on the Duece U may not like the look. the v&H diffently look but will give you a bit more DB's which may or maynot be to Ur liking. both the BR2-2 & BSS get good #" and the BSL also with a little loss <2700 but on Ur light bike you wont notice is but just a second,

I put VH big radius 2-1 on my '08 Custom. great look, and I rarely, if ever see this exhaust. the BR2-2 are a dime a dozen. Many people have asked me if I have a custom exhaust....that's the unique look I was going for.

also, VH states that the BR2-1 makes more power than any exhaust they manufacture for street use.

very nice and deep, really deep sound, not raspy like some of the other VH exhaust I have listened to.
really maintains the potato sound, but very deep... as someone else said, definintely more decibels than stock for sure. I do set off car alarms when i rumble down the street....

has a really nice gurgling sound on decel when you close the throttle.....sets off the tuning fork in my loins for sure!

I would never put anything but VH on either of my bikes. I feel their chrome quality is as good as HD's and it matches absolutely perfectly with my factory HD chrome pieces...

The best thing to do is to listen to as many as you can and always ask what baffles are in there as they make the note of the pipes

Off all the pipes I have heard, I like Rhienharts. I like the low rumble they have vs the raspy loud tone of most pipes.

My dealer even started a new Softtail with Rhinehart's inside the showroom. It was what I want now, and everyone inside went over to take a look when it started up. Outside they have I feel a great sound, thats livable in a city.

I just need to find which model I will get.

wow must have money. Rhienharts are not cheap. I have friends that have those and the slip ons sound just like the full set. my hooker rebels have the same sound when cruising with the quest baffles so I have been told.
