Default HELP! Swingarm Bag Mounting

This sucks, I've managed to rub some of the paint off of my swingarm while using my leatherworks swingarm bag. I love the bag, and the look. So 2 questions,
1. I think someone out there has figured out a way to mount the swingarm bag utilizing the footpeg holes? I can't remember who it was or how he did it.
2. What is the best way to touch up the swingarm.....

I would be tempted to use a spray can of Rustoleum gloss black. I used it to touch up my sissy bar after I cut it to fit around the stock rear turn signals and it is not noticeable.

Another piece of advice I heard: to protect the paint in situations like this, wrap electrical tape around the place where the wear would occur.

I just wrapped rubber strips round the swing arm and strapped to that works a treat.

I have a bracket that mounts the bag to the rear footpeg hole and to one of the strut bolts. I bouight the bag with the bracket already attached, but if you want some pics of it I would be glad to remove it and get some shots for you. Basically it is a thin piece of metal that is shaped like an L attached to the back of the bag via nuts and bolts. It bolts directly into the rear footpeg hole and then there is a small bracket that bolts to the bracket and attaches to the one of the strut bolts. It's a killer setup.

I use large velcro strips I got at Home Depot instead of the leather straps for mine.
