Default Having seat modded tomorrow

Ok, so I'm going to the upholsterer tomorrow afternoon. 3/17 for reference.

He will be cutting my seat for me so I don't have to sit on the back-support anymore.

Those of you that have cut or had someone cut your seats...

Is there anything you were really happy you did or wish you hadn't done?

Thanks in advance for the replies!

I think I would have had some more cushioning (memory foam or somthing) put at the back of the seat. After having it shaved out it was the only spot I found was still a bit uncomfortable...or maybe I just need a harder butt.

He said he will call me at 10am, then I go see if it matches my rear

Should have it back on the bike by late afternoon! He is real down on Gel and Mem foam. He says he can make it great the way it is. I sure hope so.

I can't wait.

If you haven't left yet make sure you wear the same type of pants you would normally wear riding and keep your wallet in your back pocket if you normally keep it there while riding as well.

You want to test it exactly how you will be using it so there's no surprises.

Good luck,
Primo

Thanks Bluerose and Primo.

He hasn't called yet, and yes I checked the phone. 2x already

That's good advice. I will do that.

After I checked the phone for the 3rd time, it rang. Dang broken phones!

It's ready for my fitting...

I got it back with the cover just tacked on to test.

I should have done this before I ever rode the bike!

What a difference.

I get the finished product at 3pm today.
