I guess I’m ready to pull the trigger on the Deuce specific Easy Bracket system for $280. I’m not happy about spending this kind of coin on $30 worth of mettle but I am happy about having a system to use my bags. Is there anyone that has a system that will work with the Deuce for less money? Is there anyone that has bought the Easy Bracket system for the Deuce and has an opinion of worth vs. money spent?

 

$280? They're only $155 on their website.

 

looks like an additional mounting bracket is required on Deuce models... that sucks. Id oubt ghost brackets would be much different, but you can check them out.

FWIW, easy brackets are pretty trick, they work well for me anyway.

 

Just saw that you have to buy 2 kits? That sucks.

 

yep it's $155 for all other Softails models but not FXSTD. the additional bracket is the extra cost. Plus the center to center holes in the regular Softail mounts are 9 1/4'' where the Deuce brackets and mounts are 4 5/8'' so you can't buy the regular on line AKA ebay and just buy the Deuce specific bracket seperate. I love my Deuce and the individuallity of it but this kind of stuff does suck. thanks

 

was going to buy mine off there web site then ran across some for a truimp on craigs list for 40$ loked at them and only thing I had to do was drill an extra hole in the fender brace.. mine work great and for the price had to do it. cant tell any difference..
