Default Black Chrome

Anyone out there know anything about the black chrome fat boy wheels I have been seeing, and any thoughts on how they are holding up. I am concidering getting some for my 05 fatboy, I think they would look pretty good with the vivid black and all the chrome I have.

Black chrome sounds like an oxymoron. You know, like government intelligence.

I have been kicking the idea around for a bit. The bad that I have heard is they tend to peel faster than reg chrome. I think they would look sharp. I would love to see a picture of a Fat Boy with these as I think would be great. Corrision was the other thing I have heard about with them.

I like that black chrome look. My new wheels will be made of that stuff - whenever I can scrape up the $2000+ needed for new wheels anyway...

Best way would be to find a spare set of wheels off say e-bay then send them in to be polished and chromed, total should be $679 plus shipping. If you want them to press in new bearings its $79 per wheel.
