I was just wondering , it seems that the majority of bikers that post have newer bikes . I ride an 87 fxstc and was just wondering any other old bikes and what mods have you done to them .

I just joined recently, but also noticed that this forum seemed to be a lot of newer bikes. I've got a 93 Springer Softail that I just purchased used about a month or two ago.

Other than a few minor tweaks, so far all I've done is put on some Hooker Headers Troublemakers and re-jetted the carb. I'm eventually planning on blacking out the motor, etc. and doing the night train look with the chrome springer front end. Before I start on any of that though, I need to put on some apes and run the wiring inside the bars, since the previous owner put on some real ugly bars and hacked/electrical taped the handlebar wiring.

What have you done to yours?

Well I have custom made some short pipes and wraped them in header wrap . Installed a progressive air ride set up with compressor . Painted it 2002 Z06 corvette yellow with customer tribal graphics that I designed on the tank . And am in the process of installing a billet cut 21 " front wheel and a 18x5.5 with a 180 avon on the back . Primary is all apart and am ready to do the spacing and probably a chain drive . different seat , mirrors and bars . side brake light and a 9" wide strutless fender and led side market lights in the back .
