I too saw the bike in person and was not impressed. They were close but fell short with the brushed steel look and the glossly black fork covers. What is that all about?

IMO, it's a bit of a mish-mash, but it seems that this model is a direct reaction by the MC to many people's desires. I am sure they pay attention to forums like this one.

If the MoCo is to continue to develop and evolve then listening and trying to meet the markets desire is prob crucial. lots of guys are doing the black thing myself included, its what i like and many others as well. doesnt mean i dont like chrome, just not in to the flash as much. I along with most of the people i know really liked the pics of the LO. Change the pipes on the bike and you got yourself a really sick ride. be sides the exhuast i think they hit a homer for the "black label" riders. just my $.02

IMO I think they getting away from all the things that make a HD cool.
I kind of agree. It like a project that has really good potential, and they run out of time, so they slap some left over parts on it to finish it up.

The bike is ok, I like the tank allot, they finally got rid of the ugly @#$ stripe they thought looked so good over the bike.
