Runaway Fatboy
Try adjusting your preload and check your tire pressure. When I bought my 01 Fatboy the preload was adjusted to the lowest setting and it wobbbled and bounced all over the place in the turns. Low tire pressure will feel similar. I turned up the preload a bit and it rides rock solid now.
I posted a similar thread awhile back about my 05 Springer Classic. Rode great before the 10k service in Huntsville Al. Shakes & vibrates now.
I stopped in at the Memphis HD the other day with no appointment. They found that both tires had 52 psi, neck bearings loose, front wheel over 1 oz out of balance. They treated me great, didn't charge much & it doesn't ride much better. sigh. They said I needed tires. (I agree, in another 1500 miles) & that spoke wheels & springer front ends are never really smooth. My friends Fatty with the same profile spoke wheels rides like dream.
