Those are Copper. They already started to have a brown patina, until I polished them off for the pictures. Now I am going to let them, and the copper plated oil lines turn a nice deep brown color, like an old penny.

 

The only parts that are powder coated on the bike are the black parts. There are copper, brass, copper plated, and anodized/electroplated parts. The rocker box covers, timer cover, and cross on the primary cover are anodized. The grips, springer cap, headlight ring, and foot controls are brass, and I mentioned the copper in the last post.

 

Big looks sick. Nice work. But where do you get that oil cap from?

The new kid is being stubborn about coming out. We are still waiting. I'm making my wife eat spicy food for dinner tonight. But at least I got the important stuff out of the way this morning. LOL

Nick is pretty adamant about having the risers match the bike though. They are actually going to be black powder coat, with that anodized brass cross on each riser, just like the primary cover. He even wants me to let him make a matching oil cap, but I am attached to the six shooter oil cap.
