For the guys that ride with 16" ape hangers - how tall are you? Do you like them?

Can you do 700 mile back to back days without issue?

 

had 16s on my last bike....was really comfy im 5.10

i did some pretty big rides on it, never had any problems, felt really natural,just looks like it isnt.....everyone i know who has installed apes love em....

 

Cool. The bike should arrive in about a week; so we'll see. I'm used to drag bars, like on my chopper - see avatar. This will be a change. Even on the chopper, longer days my should would begin to pinch. Hoping this feels better.

I'm 6'5" with 16" apes. I could ride from sun-up 'til sundown with them, and have a few times. I could have gotten away with 18's or 20's I think. 16's are a comfortable height though, and look cool too.

 

That's funny, you don't look anything close to 6' 5" in your picture! Just kidding.

Appreciate the feedback. I guess I am just a bit nervous as I come from a background of moto-x, sportbikes and my chopper w/ drag bars. I love the look of the apes and hope they handle well for long trips.

I'm excited to find out.
