Looking for commits, is the Fatboy Lo seat more comfortable than the old seat?

 

the seat is very nice and very cool looking ME LIKE

 

Was thinking about putting on my 07 FB, wandering about comfort.

 

I sat on one at the dealer and it seemed very nice. wish it would fit my deluxe,cuz Id own it.

 

I traded a brand new FatBoy Lo stock seat for my 07 FB stock seat even up. Took a 200 mile ride on it a week ago and I can attest, it's much better than the stock FatBoy seat. Sits you down in the bike also. The fiance' says that the passenger pillion was a little to narrow for her and she has a small ***. But as for the rider...definitely much better.

 

You got lucky on that deal. Can't think of to many pepole who would trade a Lo seat for a stock seat off of a 07 08 or 09. Good deal. enjoy, and if you get tired of the Lo seat let me know ... will give you my 07 stock seat for it.. ha ha.

 

Yeah I did get lucky. Being in the right place at the right time I guess. Was at a local dealership and a woman was test driving a Lo, when she was done I asked her how she liked it and the first thing she said was "the seat and handlebars have got to go" Told her I would take them. Two weeks later we swapped seats and handlebars. I haven't got the bars on yet but when I sat on one, the first thing that I liked was the bar position. However, I don't think the Lo seat is made as well as the stock 07 seat.

 

your right the older fatboy seats had thick leather. my 2010 fatboy lo seat is nice looking but not made well..i see over the years harley had cheap up some parts......cut cost to save money
