Default Nostalgic Mufflers on a Heritage

I was flipping through the pages of an old Harley book I have a couple weeks ago, and liked the looks of the old Cigar style mufflers that were popular in the 1950s. I found this guy who makes all kinds of reproduction mufflers for Harley. I ordered a set of 50's FL mufflers, and went with the stainless steel P clamps. They sound great and I'm real happy with the look. Best of all is that the prices are really good. Check this site out if you haven't already www.denniscorso.com

Good looking ride and the Fish Tails look great. I just wanted something nostalgic looking that everyone else doesn't have. As good looking as they are, and they truly are good looking, black bikes with fish tails are everywhere. My bike may not be the most popular, but I like it. I like yours too, but I choose to be different. If bell bottom pants come back in style, you won't see me wearing them either. There are way too many choices of ways to make the bike your own, without following the herd.

My dad's old Harley 74 in the 50s had a pipe like yours but I think it had a corrugated or flexible pipe header and the muffler was painted with aluminum paint or black paint. That is what they used to come with back when the sausage muffler was current, if memory serves. Looks nice!

They look good. I like the fishtails too. Just FYI....bell bottoms have been back in style for a little while now.

Are you kidding me? Bell bottoms are back??

The guy that sells these mufflers will make them to any length you want. These are a stock size, 21 1/2 inches. He'll even weld on specific mounting stuff if you want. The mufflers were $242.00 for the pair, plus $10.00 for shipping. Where else can you buy mufflers at that price? He has Fishtails too.
