Unhappy Night Train has to go !!!

Well I hate to do it, but the NT must go to make room for new E.Glide. The little lady wants to do more touring and she is just not able to ride on the NT very far, so my 08 NT is in the Classifieds. Sure wish I could afford to have 2 bikes, but its just not in the cards. Please check out the ad if you know anyone interested. Thanks.

Greetings,

Good luck! I enjoyed my Night Train, but like most people I ended up getting something different after a while.

Enjoy your Glide. I have a Fat Boy with a pretty hot 95" and a Screamin' Eagle 6 speed. I love that bike for day rides and hellraising, but if I'm leaving town I ride my Glide. If, God forbid, I could only have one bike it would be a Touring bike. The Baggers are just more comfortable on the road and locking bags are really convenient. I've ridden all kinds of Harleys for 40 years, they all have distinct advantages. If packing your lady long distances is the job, the Bagger is best.

I love the look of my 'Train, and as other people have said, it's the bike for short day trips. But the Limited is a better bike in every measure.

I'm very grateful I can afford both of them.

I had the same problem with my Train. I traded it in on a Deluxe. Guess what...it still was not what we needed for touring. Finally, in 08, I bit the bullet and added a new Ultra to the stable. It has been great. We do one weekend trip a month during the riding season and many of these are long weekends. We both enjoy hitting the road and experiencing new places. You will have a blast. IMHO, it beats the hell out of ridin around town and visiting the same watering holes. Good luck
