Can someone help a brutha out? I need the part number for the coil for an 08 softail..

Try 31656-07 thats off the top of my head. Check me out on that.
Disregard this number and see later post. This is a 2007 coil #
DragonSlayer08 got it right.

There are two on for the Rocker (31684-08) and one for all others (31696-07A). Found in 2008 Softail Parts Catalog p. 28.

I went and got a book out at the shop and 31684-08 looks right on 2008 soft tails thanks Dragon Slayer for correcting me.

No problem Rockyriver I own a Rocker and have the Softail parts manual. Beautiful bike by the way!

Thanks for the help guys.. I think I'm going to dump the stock rocker coil/ignition and go with a Deuce dash and ignition so I need to change the grenade coil.. Not too terrible price.. Latus has it for $63.. Since you're good with that book any chance it has the wrinkle black coil cover for the nighttrain?

That would be 31773-07 w/37142-00.
