Yes, looks nice, I like those huge bags only on the left side of the bike ... too bad it cost more to ship them to Malaysia than they cost to buy ... will have to wait until one of my family comes to visit ...
Question, how are they attached to the bike, and do you need to bolt on support to the bike to prevent it from "flopping" about? Didn't find any info about that on the site ...
I´ll take a picture of the attachment when I get home and post it. It is a metal bolt that makes the bag hang about an inch from the frame.
Bolts looks like this: (Have to be cut to the right length depending of sissybar etc)
I also have one rollthingie on the axle to prevent the bag from grinding on the axle. I think this is from www.bikeline.se
No chance of floppin about even with a empty bag. The bag is stiff and heavy.
Some nice lookin' bags!! Nice and BIG just like they should be. I never really saw the point of putting little dinky bags on.
I didn't see any prices and I know they would cost a lot to send them to the states. Any idea on how much they would cost and to get sent over here?
The prices are in Swedish Kroner, the big bags are between 3,500 and 4,000 SEK (3,500 SEK is about $490 and 4,000 SEK is about $555 according to this site)
add to that the transport and probably import duty ... getting expensive ... but one can always dream ... have to convince family to come visit ...
The prices are inclusive swedish VAT (25%) so it should be cheeper than the prices on that page if you import.
Leather thickness is 3.7 mm (0.14 inches) so they are quite heavvy. I would guesstimate 6-7 kg (13-15pd) so shipping could be expensive...
