Hey everyone I think I'm finally giving into getting me some apes for my Rocker. Gonna get them in 1 1/2" tubing. Not sure if I'm gonna chrome them or paint to match my ride. There is some bad *** rides with apes on here, so let me know what you think.- Jo

I'm partial to drags but I think scoots look good with apes.. I like the Sweeping beaters in 12" if they come in that size... I say hellz yez go for it..

 

Same here brother, that with 3" risers and you'll be set.

 

I like the Sweeping Beaters chromed, but then I might be a bit biased.

Is there are reason you are going with 1.5" over 1.25"? I have the 1.25" Sweeping beaters and they are beefy as is, also it is hard to find a good selection of risers that will accomodate 1.5" bars.

 

are'nt the mounting points the same?

 

When I purchased my risers I had to find risers that would fit 1.25" diameter bars, even then there wasn't a wide selection. The selection for 1.5" diameter bars were even fewer. BR's Custom Bars only has on set of risers for 1.5" bars with a 1.5" rise, whereas with the 1.25" risers you can get either a 3", 4", 5", and 6" rise.

 

I love my sweeping beaters! You can have them done anyway you want and any size. BR's bars are the best!

 

Hey Jo... I'd have to go with the Sweeping Beaters because of the trips are kinda narrow on a rocker... I thought you were going another direction with the bars? 808 Productions is always open for you... When your ready...

 

I was just lookin' for, like you said a "beefy" look. I think the 1.5" tube has a bold look to them. I never thought about risers yet..I'll seek Dr Vtwin for help with that.

Hey Mark, yeah still might go that way but just seeing all your guys rides when we ride I kinda started liking that look alot. Oh trust me when the time comes Marks 808 Productions and Mike Monster Garage will have a new creation, but you better get some sunglasses cause its gonna be a shiney one...LOL
