Default Auto-Gem Derringer Lights

Auto-Gem Derringer Lights, anyone wire these up as your primary turn signals? I have mounted FLH hard bags on my Fatboy and looking for some ideas on how to mount some turnsigals.

What have you found out about the Auto-Gem Derringer Lights? I have a Kuryakin Panacea brake/turnsignal system and don't want to loose my red/amber turnsignal capability on my 2007 Fatboy

i have a set on my bones, they look and work great. i don't have any pics of them yet. They are a good quality product. i had to drill a separate hole in my strut to avoid pinching the wires (when you mock them up you will see). I then put some heat shrink around the wires and filed down the rough edges just be safe.

I did the same thing and put road king bags on my fatboy and these are the lights I used. They worked great and the end of my strut had just enough of a recess I didn't need to drill a hole.
I will get some pics tonight

Sounds like the Auto-gem derringers will work. Are you sure they work with the Kuryakin Panacea system and they will change color from red to amber?

Can't answer the specific question, but I have these lights as well, high quality and easy to install...not sure why you had to drill another hole in the strut...? I have an Xbones as well, went on like a charm

I think where it says single filament means they can't change color amber/red. They are pretty cool anyway.

the way the wires routed it pinched them tight b/n the light and the strut cover. actually wore the coating off the ground at the contact point, so i didn't want to take any chances. it's a tiny hole just to get the wires through.

yeah they are single filament signals and wouldn't have any way of changing colors. I bought the cheaper incandescent bulb ones and even though they aren't quite as bright as I would like, they were half the price
I took a few pics last night, but only one of them turned out worth a dam
I will get some better ones tonight
