I guess you can weld the heartland struts on the fender and call it strutless... My interpretation of strutless is a clean fender almost the look of swingarm mounted just mounted either to the top and/or the sides of the frame... I know im splitting hairs but its thursday night.. : )

I agree with you Joe, I was just guessing at why they might call it strutless.

Now this is something I would be willing to spend money on, $926 for the short fender seems decent. I wonder if I could keep my Danny Gray seat with it?

If the drilling rigs are running full out for the summer, I will do this mod next fall while I am back in school this fall. Maybe if I am lucky they will even drop a little more before then.

Thanks for the heads up bro.

I just e-mailed them to see if this setup will work with me being allowed to keep my Danny Gray seat. Is that unlikely?

imo it doesnt compare......i paid 1700 for my heartland from heartland, and that came with a seat,.....almost 1400 for a fender and splash, by the time you get a seat and think about a passenger.....hmmm......heartland at least you can save pennies and get the rear seat n sissy bar and load it to the gillz to take a trip...but jus my two shiny pennies......the reason i didnt go with rsd wuz for one mines an 07 and you had to cut the horns of and second my wife rides alot and i take long trips and need a place to bungie the siutcase too.....and third with rsd someone could walk up wit an allen wrech and take 4 bolts out and walk away with the kit.......

You can make your own seat pan... alumn foil over the fender and frame they start laying down fiberglass about 1/4 inch thick then let dry cut to size take to local upholstery shop and you got a custom seat for your new RWD kit... woot woot woot bishes
