Took off all my tin in order to paint. The newer oil tanks now have a style of fitting that I have never seen before. I got the old ons out, but I can't figure out how to get the new ones back in. The shop manual doesn't show much, and everyone I talk to is in the dark. Does anyone have a clue on where the o-rings go and then how to get the fittings back into the tank?

 

Going through this now, myself.
