Default Nostalgic air cleaner cover 29136-91 (older version) will fit on TC96"???

It looks to me like the there are 2 versions of the "nostalgic" a/c covers that HD offered...
  • 29136-91 for the Carbed version
  • 29138-91 for the TC with the SE a/c.
The older version of the cover definitely seems "flatter" and has less of a concave dome in the centre....

I want to fit the older flatter style to my TC96" with SE air cleaner kit, but not sure if
(a) they are still available??
(b) they will fit??

Can anyone clear this up for me before I order the wrong part.

Thanks.

Just not sure if the older version is available anymore and if it would even fit?

Thumbs up

Clarify this through the STEALERSHIP before buying! They should be able to tell you exactly!

Default A/C cover

I have SE air cleaner kit with cover 29153-07. Its smaller then your numbers. I think 7" instead of 8. maybe that is a option. I have a tc 96 as well.

Wallie.

I think you have the numbers backwards. The one I put on my bike had PN = 29136-91 on the box.
They both 'should' fit but PN = 29138-91 has a notch in it to clear part of the carb and looks odd with nothing to clear.

The problem is that 29136-91 does not exist anywhere. When you search for it on the HD website they give you 29138-91 as a result.

29136-91 is a discontinued cover for Evo butterfly carbs. No idea if it would fit a TC, but I would guess not. Biker's Choice still has them for $26.

29138-91 is the part you're after. My wife has it on her 09 deluxe.

Thanks for all the replies.... I'm just going to go with the one listed in the catalogue to fit the later model bike.
