Default Engine Guard/Crash Bar question

Hell All,
Quick question about the engine guard/carsh bar. I am 6'4" and ride a stock 2010 Fat Boy. On long rides my legs get uncomfortable on the foot boards. Would Engine Guard's with highway pegs let me stretch my legs out a lot or would it just allow my legs to stretch out a little? Any good suggections on where to get them. Want sturdy without losing and arm or leg. Thanks for any help in advance.

I'm only 6ft, but with 33" inseams. I swapped my engine guard for Kuryakan Mark IIIs. I rest my heels on the floorboards and the ***** of my feet on the Mark IIIs pegs.

You need Harley Goodies floorboard extensions along with a crash bar with highway pegs or some Kuryakyn Mark III or Mark IV pegs. This is what I run.

Crashbar and Harley's 360 degree peg mount. This combo gives you about any position you want. Short legs, rotate the mount arm rearward and forward for long legs, and anywhere in between. Nicely chromed and look good..

I went with the Kuryakyn Ergo engine guard. Not a big fan of the big crash bars.
The highway pegs are built in and swing out. I'm 5'11 and put my heels on the boards resting the sole of my feet on the pegs. I am sure you would be able to rest your heels on them.

Well I tell ya man I used to lay my feet up on top of my stock crash bars I felt like I was in a recliner. But just here recently I put some Lindby bars on and its mad e agood difference. Alot more comfortable and if I wanna widen my legs out a little i put some highway pegs on the outside of the lindbys works great and im 6'

I agree with the Kuryakyn Mark III or Mark IV pegs votes though lindby has some interesting options as engine guards
