I'm looking to add some apes to my 92 fatboy and need advice on what size to get. I'm 6' tall and the bike is stock height with a LePera BareBones seat. I want my hands to be at shoulder level or just below. Anyone have any advice on what would get me close to that setup??? Thanks in advance.

 

I just put 14" chubbys on my deuce and I am 6'3"....they are an inch above my shoulders
but I think I sit lower on a deuce than a fatboy would. My buddy put 12.5" on his SERK and they are about shoulder level but he is 5'10"....we both run 1.5" risers.

 

At 6' 12" or 14". I am 5'9" and run 16"'s without an issue.

 

i'm 6'2 and rock 18". the taller the better.

 

If you want no taller than shoulder height with that low profile seat, probablly 12's are about there.

 

Thanks everyone for the input so far. I was kinda thinking 12.5" Wild 1's. Definitely nothing over 14" for now. Any 6 footers with a fatboy out there?

I agree 100%. I am 6'2 and run 16's, and love them. They are absolutely perfect on mine, and I have a Bare Bones, as well.

 

Carlini's run a little bit taller than other brands. Get them in 14" (which should be really 15") I'm 6'3" running Carlini's 18" and could not be happier (1999 FLSTF)
