I have an 04 Deuce with drag bars and are sort of bored with them. I thought about going with apes but until recently haven’t seen a set-up that looked good (to me) until I saw a set-up with relocated turn signals, 14 inch Apes, solo seat, and custom rear fender. I think the solo seat and fender give it more of a bobber look which blends well with the Apes. Now that I’m onboard with the change I can’t wait to see how she looks. Plan to get a set of skins off Ebay and modify rear fender and get custom paint job. Will post pics when she's done. Appreciate all prior post on Deuce Apes. A lot of good information and ideas. Been contemplating apes for a while, I've ridden with 14's in the past on a deluxe and loved the comfort, wasn't sure how it would look on my deuce though.. Thanks for posting this! I just placed the order! Looks great!
