Who has ape hangers on their Deuce? And what size?

Sorry no pic, ive seen it done on a nice blue one. About a 2001. It looked great on there. They were 16 inch and had steel braided lines and chrome everywhere.

One of the guys in the Deuce Picture thread has some apes on his. Start with the last page and work your way back. It shouldn't be that far back in the thread. It didn't look bad at all on his bike because he kept the bars in line with the forks. I've seen a couple Deuces that had apes that were straight up and down and I thought they looked kinda funny.

 

i put baby apes on my train, which is very similar to a deuce, and it looks great. there are some pictures in the thread named "so excited"

 

Here's mine with 16" Wild One's. And don't buy into the whole "Deuces shouldn't have apes" logic. It's your bike, do what you want. Sorry, but there is always some expert chiming in with some remark like that.

 

thats slick grammy. how tall are you and about where are your hands compared to shoulders. i cant decide if i want 13 s or 16 s. Im 6ft and want my hands right at my shoulders. thanks!

 

My bike recently came in second place in a bike contest against a Deuce with 16" apes. That bike was so sick lookin I even voted for it! [sm=smiley20.gif]

 

I'm also 6ft tall. If I sit up straight, my hands are even with my shoulders. When I lean back, my hands are just above shoulder height. This is with a Badlander seat.

 

Grammy i have an 01 duece that i just bought 16's for. Do you know what size cables I need?
