They look nice. How much pullback did you get with them?

Installed my 4" risers today and took it for a ride. What a difference, I'm glad I decided to do this.

Ok folks, Risers on backorder so I might as well do some more research.

I have looked over the bike and I was wondering how you accesses the bolts for the stock risers? I thought about removing the "nacel" covers and working in from there.

I would really rather learn from you all than screw something up for not asking a question.

Thanks in advance

PS - any pics would be a great help

I ordered the 6" inch risers (56267-09) from Latus HD on 8 Jun, they were the only place online that claimed to have them in stock. I got word from them today that they are backordered until the end of July...so much for honesty in advertising.
Their website still claims they are available and ship in 7 days.

I replied to them that in the competitive marketplace for HD parts (where pricing is often not the difference...like apple) service and integrity matter.
I will order my parts elsewhere from now on.
This doesnt solve my issue however, the risers are not available until the end of July.

I went with new bars entirely. Got about 14.5" of pullback and they're great now. I got the Wild 1 Chubbys http://www.wild1inc.com/orderWO560B.html

JBG

They look awesome! How much wider are they than the stock bars? Also, do you know what cables (part numbers or sizes) they used to replace the stock cables?

The guys at the dealership by me had no clue what to use or what kind of bends the end of the cables should have...Idiots!

Thanks!

RumbleStrip - I don't have the specific part numbers on me, but I have the reciept from when I bought them. Went with the Harley Stealth cables. The numbers on the reciept aren't the HD part numbers, but they'll work to find them in the store. They're:

131-30-10039+2 - Clutch Cable - $67.95
131-30-30010+4 - Throttle Cable - $46.95
131-30-40010+4 - Idle Cable - $46.95
HD0107-FPBK/BK+4 - Brake Line - $66.95

Getting all the parts including new grips and some other parts was a little over $700 from HD. But I got it on a 2X VIP points day so I got 20% off. If you can do the install yourself...do it. HD wants 9 hours of labor to do it for you. But it's a pain.
