Default HD pullback risers on Fatboy Lo

Went to a dealer to day to find out if their 4" pullback riser (56269-09 ) will fit on my ride without changing out wires or cables. They didnt really know...but said no anyways.

Anybody have these risers on a fatboy lo ? Whats the wire/cable situation?

I almost went over there yesterday to ask the same question. Anyone know what we can use to get some pullback without changing out the wires? Thanks.

let me throw this out and then you guys decide. I exchanged my 07 stock FB bars for the 2010 FB Lo bars and the only cable I had to switch was the lower front brake cable (to long) so if the 07 stock bars had more rise and wider then I would suspect that with a 4" rise you may be fine.....key word being "may"

4" pullback risers fit fine on my '09 FatBoy, even though the dealer said they would not fit.

I too put the pullbacks on my 09 and all the cables worked out fine. I did have to loosen the brake line to get a little more slack.

I put the 4" pullback risers on my FB Lo, plenty of wire. Go for it.

I've been thinking about doing the same thing. Let me ask what may be the dumbest question you'll hear all day:

If I assume they will fit without changing any cables, can I put them on without removing or taking any of the cables loose while installing them?

If anyone crashed a vehicle or fell down the stairs laughing at that one, I apologize.

Thanks.

Yep, well you might need to loose the clamps on the front brake line. Then take the bars out of the stock risers, lay them on the tank (on a towel), remove the risers, replace with new risers, insert bars in said risers, install caps, adjust bars, enjoy.
