Default Crossbones Seat

What is your honest opinions on this seat for a crossbones?

I'll also want to add a sissy bar with a pad for the wife.

What is yalls opinion on looks and function?

Honest? Looks very very comfortable. Especially for the pillion But might be a bit "uncool" in the looks department

But then who cares, you don't see it when you're riding the bike.

I prefer comfort over "cool" since I spend more time riding the bike than looking at it.

Depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you have a passenger, hard just to go with a cool solo, although I did that, and am about 2 days away from displaying a pretty rad mod that let's my wife ride above my strutless heartland rear. Stay tuned, you can have your cake and eat it too. Good luck with your choice.

If you don't mind leaving the "retro look" behind, go for it.

That's pretty much the same setup I have. It does change the look of the bike some, but well worth the comfort & convenience that comes with it. My wife wouldn't even consider riding on the pillion that is supposed to go with the factory seat.

If you are going for aesthetics just say no! If you are going for comfort it looks very comfortable.

Any other seat than a solo sprung seat on the bones ruins the look IMO. To each their own though. The original seat is very comfortable. I switched out to a WLA solo which has a bit less padding than the stocker but retains the sprung solo look.
