I agree with that. It took me a while. The first set of struts I got were powder coated but got lucky a year later finding a chrome pair. Are you doing your eBay searches manually. I had better luck when I set them up for automatic with email alerts.

Default Rocker c strut seat

Thanks for the feedback regarding the eBay auto search. Are you able to recall what you used in your auto search ? Was it a part number or Fxcwc strut seat ps I am still not 100% sure what the part number is for the complete seat including sissy bar. If you had that it would be rarely helpful
much appreciated craig harley

Craig, sorry I did get back to you sooner on the eBay search question. I will follow up on that. For now I wanted you to know that a strut and rack setup is available on Ebay. A little pricey but since these are becoming increasingly hard to find thought you should know. These two parts are actually the harder parts of the complete setup to find. https://www.ebay.com/itm/15274787872...=true#shpCntId

Thanks for getting back to me on this one. I will keep searching as its the seat hat I am looking for. At that price I would rather wait for what I'm looking for. Once again thanks for the notification

No problem. You might want to add the seller from the listing to your favorite sellers list. I recall them listing parts from the touring setup a few times per year, nearly every year.

Here is the complete list of part numbers:

53935-08 Harley Davidson Touring System Strut Kit
53957-08 Harley Davidson FXCW Solo Luggage Rack
52959-08 Harley Davidson Passenger Pillion for FXCW Models
52804-08 Sissy Bar
51782-07 Back Rest Pad

I have saved searches by part number running on ebay as well as word searches:
Softail Rocker Seat -bolt (removes bolt from listing)
FXCW Parts
fxcw seat -bolt

A complete set showed up from one of my followed vendors. Pricey and struts are painted . Not sure you needed all the parts but if you wanted to resell later.

On the solo luggage rack it says "load capacity 25LBS (11.3kg) MAX. And yet you mount the "passenger pillion" seat to it and then sit a human being on it!
My questions are; why does it say that? What is the actual human-load capacity of this pillion system?

if you want some other pics of the bar system let me lnow.

what kind of cost would I be looking at?
