Hey all,
I've noticed lately that on occasion my brake pedal squeeks when I release it. It's EXTREMELY annoying. I looked in the service manual and it says it's a greaseless bushing - no need to grease it.

Any suggestions?

 

I have a 06 FXSTS and at low speeds I hear a squeel as well, when I tap the rear brake it goes away... I tell the shop every time and they say they will grind on the pad or sometimes the pads get to slick? Anyway, Yes it is very annoying!!!

 

I'm talking about a squeal that comes from the pedal itself - not from the pad rubbing on the rotor. When I release the pedal and it rotates back to the up position it squeaks on the way up. On my Sporty, there was a grease fitting on the brake pedal. Not on the Deluxe.
