Default Feet slip of cruise pegs

When fighting a wind or meeting a semi, my feet want to slide outward off the pegs. I always wear boots. I was thinking of putting an ice racing pick or two up through the rubber. If I could angle the pegs up a bit that might help but it doesn't seem possible. I usually rest my heels on the boards and the soles on the pegs. Any good ideas out there? Thanks.

Do you where flat bottom boots, or ones with tread? Flat bottom will slide around with pegs like those.

Take a piece of black skateboard deck grip paper and cut it to fit the 2 rubber strips on the top and bottom. It has an adhesive on the back of it or you can glue it also.

Jeez, I've got some in the garage from my son's motocross days that we used on his bike...I'll give it a shot. Thanks for all the replies.

Before puting that deck tape on your pegs, why not try mod'n your boot sole.

Try to scuff up the area that contacts the peg with some rough grit sand paper. Or even take a dremel to the sole and cut one or two small notches.

Just like mod'n tires.
