Hey guys, I know this topic doesn't really belong here (feel free to move), but this is where I spend the most time (lurking) and I trust most of your guys opinions.
I'm looking at this jacket (not even necessarily this exact jacket, but this website.). Are these type of jackets worth the money? They are soo frickin cheap. Are they total junk?
I'll use it about 1.5 months of the year.
You can return the jacket to them w/in 30 days, no questions asked. I think the quality of the leather and the workmanship is on par with anything I've seen at a HD dealership
Seems like a good price given all the features. I have an Arizona leather jacket from JC Penneys - $25. Thick leather, has a hoodie, fits great, no bike padding though. For me, buying clothes online does not work out. Either does not fit or the quality is disappointing.
Looks like you have thirty days to decide if you like it! Sounds like they stand behind their product Plus they advertise right here on hdforums . I may give one of these jackets a try for the money!
i bought one from pawn shop for $15. yes and it was ok till it rained. Now i have a first leather that i paid $279 and it has more zipper pockets and a place for your gun with lanyard.
I buy my jackets here, they are made on site on the 2nd floor of the store. They can make any jacket to fit anyone and will measure you on site so that jacket or chaps are fitted for each person. Or they have premade standard sized jackets..
Their leather is very thick and made in USA, jackets made in foreign countries contain lead and mercury in the leather to make the leather softer and usually the leather isn't drum dyed so when it rains you get the black dye running out of the jacket on your clothes and skin..
I firmly beleive you get what you pay for...
