Default Project FatBoy Update

Thought I would post an update of my project. the engine is currently off getting rebuilt by Harley, the waiting game is going good so far since I have plenty of work to keep me busy!!!! I installed black 17 inch ape hangers, and painted the tins with "Hot Rod Black" by SEM, it's a flat black with a little sheen to it! I think it's going to be a sweet bike when finished. Let me see if I can get these pics to work.

How she looked when I brought her home

Here she is stripped down

The New 17 inch Apes

The Tins ready for paint

Spraying the tank

Fender still wet

Tank Still wet

Test fit of the Tank because I couldn't resist!

as always opinions are welcome, but it's my bike and it's freaken sweet.

can't wait till Monday and Tuesday = my weekend.

They told me three weeks before I get it back. But I actually couldn't go through the moco. In going through my local dealership. They have their own machine shop right there and looked over most the performance parts that supposedly were installed right before I baught it. I took the motor apart my self because I was going to just fix the counterbalance and put it back together. But with a lot of help from this forum I realized I was in over my head. So the local dealer said my S&S gear drive Cams look brand new so I get to keep those. If I went through the moco reman program everything would be put back to stock specs. I still get the warranty and I get to put the motor back in my self. its been one week already, two weeks left. I still need to paint the lower forks! And clean the frame up and get new shocks! I'll be sure to take plenty more pics!
