I've been an Amsoil user for about 10k miles. But, with my last build, I've noticed that my valvetrain seems noisier. I'm about to swap back to a conventional 20w-50 to see if it quietens down a little.

Mobil 1 20W50 Regular, not V-twin. Rotella 15W40 Primary and Rotella 90-110 Gear lube in the trany. It is the same stuff that we use to run years ago before HD came out with $yn3 and said it would work in all 3 holes
I didn't buy it then and still don't even after they came out with Formula+ for the Primary/Trans. Gears need more than 'Oil' IMHO.

I change the engine every 5k and the trans/Primary 10k.

I just checked the container. It claims High Performance Mortorcycle Oil. (For water or air cooled motorcycles.)...does not mention Harley
Lucas 20W-50 ....for Engine / Trans / Primary

Anyway..thanks for all the comments.

Running AMSOIL in the engine and primary, and RedLine Shockproof in the trans...so far so good.

I just replaced the cam brg. in my 99 EVO, and was surprised how clean it was in the cam chest. It was super clean with no detectable wear on any thing. It has 27,000 miles on it, and I decided it was time to change out the INA brg. for the Torrington. It has had Castrol GTX 20-50 dino oil in it since new. I think most of the oils out there are plenty good, and I do change mine at between 2,000 and 2,500.

I use Red Line 20/50 in the engine, and Heavy Shock gear oil in the trans. As stated above they are all good. Just stay with the one you pick. Mobile 1 is available at Walmart, where Red Line/Amsoil has to be ordered. I change the oil every 3k, primary and trans every fall before I put it away for the winter months.

I run Amsoil 20-50 in the engine and primary, and Amsoil Severe
Gear in the transmission.

I change all 3 every 5000 miles. No sticker, no figuring mileage, just look at the odometer and do the change.

And I also use the scavenger to get ALL the oil out of the motor.
